The company, established in 2012 by the healthcare professional and entrepreneur Mr. Glenn Bilby, with more than 30 years of expertise in the field human movement science, has developed the breakthrough software and technology designed to perform fast, markerless, digital 3D motion capture and measurement of human posture, balance and movement patterns. The innovative technology is advanced dynamic posturography that enables computerized processing and analysis of human movement, and will also offer the capability to personalized corrective interventions and preventative strategies, as well as analysis of groups of people. It is estimated that 1 in 3 people suffer from some form of human movement disorder. The health insurance cost associated with musculoskeletal problems alone is as much as 35% in Europe. In the pursuit of optimal health and wellness of its clients, Qinematic aims to use objective assessment to identify poor human movement factors that could lead to increased injury risk, lower quality of life, higher healthcare costs and subsequently to recommend the corrective exercises leading to better human posture, balance and movement.
